  • Drafted by St Louis Cardinals in 1971(11th round)
  • Played 3 ½ years in Minor League
  • Won 2 AAA batting titles (hit .387 in 1973  and .332 in 1977)
  • Played 16 ½ years in Major League Baseball- 8 different teams
  • Member of 1983 World Series Champion Baltimore Orioles
  • Home run in first World Series at bat
  • 102 career pinch hits
  • Coached 26 years in Minnesota Twins minor league system(1991-2016)
  • Managed Minnesota Twins A ball team(1992-1996)
  • 10 years as Minnesota Twins minor league hitting coordinator(1997-2006)

  • All State Player at Andrew High School in 1998
  • Offered professional contract with Diamondbacks, turned down to attend college
  • Attended Creighton University and Lewis University on scholarships
  • All Conference and Honorable Mention All Region Senior yr at Lewis University
  • Asst hitting coach at St Xavier University in 2017
  • 12 years of hitting instruction at multiple academies including Ball Park, Bo Dome, and Diamond in the South Chicago land area
